Dong Chul KimDong Chul Kim graduated from Hong-Ik University in Seoul, South Korea in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Painting. In 1994 he completed his Masters degree. In 1991 and 1994 he was awarded the Special Prize at the Korean Art Grand Exhibition.His dreamy landscapes evoke calmness and serenity. “If you feel unstable and unrestful, have a look at the hills and rivers Dong Chul Kim has created on canvas, and you will find yourself calming down.” Kim has exhibited his work in solo and group shows in Korea and the United States.
